Dr. Beck’s extensive training includes research and clinical experience in burn surgery, a fellowship in craniofacial surgery and intense plastic surgery and reconstructive training. While Beck Plastic Surgery is almost exclusively dedicated to aesthetic procedures, Dr. Beck’s background in microsurgery and reconstructive surgery give him a powerful perspective on anatomy, spatial relationships and healing—all critical components of a great cosmetic result. Further differentiating Dr. Beck is the empathy, compassion and gentle approach he developed as a result of treating those with devastating malformations and trauma. His ability to form connections with aesthetic patients puts them at ease and allows a comfortable exchange of ideas and information throughout their course of treatment. “Plastic surgery is a very personal decision. About Dr. Brink

Dr. Brink graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School after completing his undergraduate work with honors at Harvard. He completed general surgical training at UC Davis, including a year as chief resident, and then went on to UC San Francisco where he completed two years of plastic surgical training. He has been in private practice since 1977.
Dr. Brink is a diplomat of the American Board of Surgery and is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is an active member of a number of professional associations including The American Society of Plastic Surgery, The American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, The California Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Lipoplasty Society and the International Society of Clinical Plastic Surgeons.

Dr. Brink has authored a number of articles on plastic surgery which have appeared in one of the world's most prestigious medical journals, 'Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery'. He designed and popularized an implant used to improve contour in facial surgery, and was listed by Castle-Connolly as on of the nations Top Doctors in 2001.

Dr. Brink has frequently served as a guest speaker for lay organizations and as a lecturer to his fellow surgeons, who benefit from his twenty years of Plastic Surgical experience.

He attends a variety of forums each year both to keep his skills at optimum level and to learn the latest techniques.
